Sorry to hijack, Sasha, but your videos of exploding bridges were awesome and I wanted to share some cool explosions from my neck of the woods.

Veteran's Stadium - this is where the Eagles and Phillies played since 1971. After they built Lincoln Financial Field for the Eagles and Citizen's Bank Park for the Phils, they imploded the Vet to make more room for parking. That was in 2004. I haven't been to the Linc (and probably never will because I hate football) but the new baseball stadium is AWESOME. Still, I miss the Vet. Some of my favorite childhood memories with my daddy happened there.

The people in the following video do the douchiest chant ever, the bane of my existence as a Philadelphian: "E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!" Oh, also, they curse a lot in this vid.

I lived in South Philly at the time... about 20 blocks away and I could still feel it.

And now, the Sands Casino, in Atlantic City, which is about an hour from Philly. I spent every summer down there from the year I was born until I was 16 or so... my grandparents had a house down there, in the non-seedy part of town.

The Sands Hotel and Casino opened in 1980 and was imploded just this past October. There's some cool shit in this vid but the actual implosion is at about 3:45.
